The Kingston, NY Sinterklaas Celebration opens next Saturday, Nov. 30th with a full day of musical performances, workshops and at dusk a children’s parade with puppets. The honored animal of this year’s celebration is the Sturgeon, a fish that has been on the earth for 120 million years. Its return to the Hudson River speaks to clean waters. My painting Boy on a Sturgeon will be in a group show curated by Nancy Donskoj that celebrates the Sturgeon and opens at the Kingston Artist Collective, 63 Broadway next weekend. The artists reception is on Saturday December 7 from 5 to 7pm.
